Exploration Into Design

Introduction

Fashion and design are two topics that I have grown up on and have been prominent in my life. My mom works in design and I am also very interested in design and the design process. Although I was always interested in design, I only started to explore the actual process of making clothing and garments recently. During this time I would like to research the process of making clothes. I would more importantly like to explore how clothes are used as an art form. By learning about the process of making clothes and how garments are made I will be able to explore the process of making clothes. I want to create a few garments that will demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of garment making and also show how clothing can be used as an art form.
