TEKS Guide

The purpose of the TEKS Guide is to help teachers understand each student expectation in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and to provide valuable resources to support instruction. 

All lesson planning should begin by studying and internalizing the student expectation(s) for the lesson. The TEKS Guide will provide detailed information about what to teach, including, in some cases, specific boundaries that further clarify how much information students should receive about specific content.
