National Arts Month
Buklad Fest 2026 responds to the convergence of natural disasters and human-induced injustices. This year, the festival channels collective outrage, resilience, and creative defiance through its theme, “Protest Art: Mga Likhang ‘Di Pasisiil” (Protest Art: Unconquerable Creative Works). It celebrates the indomitable Bikolnon artistic spirit – a spirit that refuses to be silenced or subdued, a spirit that preserves truth even when systems attempt to obscure it.
