The CEC envisions the Ateneo de Naga University as the prime facilitator of initiatives to promote Bikol culture and arts, which reflect God-given talents and gifts to individuals. Through its initiatives, the Bikol region will experience growth and development in the fields of literature, theatre, film, music, dance, and visual and digital arts.

The mission of the CEC is to inculcate among existing Bikolano artists and enthusiasts a sense of deeper appreciation and preference for Bikolano arts and culture. The CEC ensures that the expression of ideas, through all forms of art, provides avenues for students’ personal, social, and spiritual formation, environmental awareness, and aesthetic development through collaborative projects, workshops, performances, and multimedia productions.
