Ignatius Carvalho - Swimming Coach
Ignatius Arunlash Carvalho is a swimming coach and a degree holder in Sports and Exercise Science From Tunku Abdul Rahman University. He has coaching experience in both Competitive and learn to swim for more than 7 years (ASCA level 1-3 and Austswim). He is a former competitive swimmer who competed in State level swimming competitions in Malaysia from the age of 10. He has a background in Athletics, competing in long distance track event and cross country. Besides swimming he spends his time playing various types of sports such as football, tennis and badminton.
Jimmy Chng - Swimming Coach
Jimmy Ch'ng holds a Bachelor's Degree of Hospitality Management. He has holds Swimming Teacher Association Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming (STA) and National Rescue Award for Swimming (UKRLSS). He has total 4 years of experience in teaching swimming. He represents for school when ages 11. His favorite stroke is Backstroke and Butterfly. He is a keen sportsperson and actively enjoys swimming, badminton and table tennis. Jimmy is passionate about swimming and enjoys encouraging students to develop their skills and achieve their potential in all sports.
Joey Loh - Swimming Coach
Joey is a passionate educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and minor in Health Education from University Putra Malaysia. she is a former national diver for over a decade before she began her coaching journey in 2020. Joey is also a certified diving coach and Learn-to-Swim instructor, with expertise in coaching young state-level divers and teaching swimming across various age groups from babies to adult.

Sarah Evans - Head of Pre-Dragons - Primary Curriculum
Sarah studied Sports Science and Physical Education at Bangor University in Wales, where her dedication to the water matched her love for sport. A committed swimmer, she represented Wales before being talent-spotted for the GB Water Polo team. Seeing first-hand the positive impact swimming can have, she began coaching and teaching in the UK before moving to Penang, Malaysia, which has since become her second home.
In Malaysia, she has worked as a PE teacher and Head of Aquatics, setting up school swimming curricula and competitive squads in schools where swimming is a core part of the community. She is passionate about helping young people develop confidence, skill, and enjoyment through the water.
Fatheen Ellina -Swimming Coach
Fatheen, who was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA with a Bachelor of Sports Science (Hons.). Prior to her teaching years since 2019, she was involved in coordinating the 2017 KL SEA Games.
Fatheen holds a STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming from STA UK and is an active member of Malaysia Swimming Teachers’ Association (MSTA). She has the Bronze Medallion from The Life Saving Society of Malaysia and National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC) and is a certified RLSS UK Life Saver, certified RLSS UK First Aider and AED Handler.
Fatheen is very passionate in teaching swimming and PE and often finds new ways to encourage the students to further develop their skills whilst having fun during the lessons. Being an active sportsperson, Fatheen is also an active member of the National BMX Commissaires from Malaysia National Cycling Federation (MNCF) panel since 2014. During her free time, she really enjoys hiking, running, traveling and plays numerous sports to keep active.
Coach Joe - Swimming Coach
Ahmad Fakhri, better known as Coach Joe, is a former Malaysian diver with nearly 13 years of experience coaching swimming and diving. His journey has taken him to Kuwait, where he coached and managed swimming programs at several international schools, gaining valuable experience working with athletes of all ages and abilities.
He holds a Sports Science Level 2 certification and is a Level 2 Diving Coach. In addition, he is Bronze Medallion certified by the Life Saving Society Malaysia and a certified PADI Rescue Diver. He is currently completing his Dive Master training under PADI, further expanding his knowledge in water safety and aquatic skills.
Coach Joe is passionate about helping every swimmer build confidence, discipline, and a love for the water. His goal is to create a positive and motivating environment where athletes can thrive, both in the pool and beyond.
Coach Chui Lai Kwan - Senior Elite/Performance Swimming Coach
Coach Lai Kwan is an experienced swimming coach and a former national-level athlete from Malaysia. With a strong background in competitive swimming, she brings both technical expertise and passion to the pool.
She has been coaching since 2012, working with swimmers of all ages and guiding school teams to develop confidence, discipline, and performance excellence. Known for her structured yet encouraging approach, Coach Lai Kwan focuses on stroke technique, water safety, and overall athletic development.
Her goal is to inspire young swimmers to unlock their potential, whether they are training for competition or building lifelong skills in the water.

Eileen Nicole Leung Chii Lin is a Malaysian swimmer, who specialised in sprint freestyle events. She represented her nation Malaysia at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has won a career total of three medals in an international competition, spanning two editions of the Southeast Asian Games. Victor Kung - Swimming and Water Polo Coach
Victor is a swim and water polo coach with a strong academic and professional foundation. He holds a degree in Sport & Exercise Science and a Master’s in Educational Psychology. From 2018 to 2021, he coached the Malaysian National Para Swim Team, managing daily sessions and serving as assistant coach for the Road to Tokyo 2021 (RTT) program. During his time with the National Sports Council (NSC), he led teams at international meets including the World Para Swimming Series in Glasgow and Singapore.
Victor is certified under AUSTSWIM, SSI, ASUM, and holds a Coaching License C from the National Sports Institute (ISN). A former Sabah state swimmer and water polo player, he also represented his university at national competitions, earning medals in the 800m freestyle and 4x200m relay at SUKIPT 2014.
He remains active in endurance sports, regularly racing in triathlons and open water swim events across Malaysia, and occasionally finishing top three in his category. His coaching blends technical skill with a practical, athlete-focused approach to development.
