If you chose to take a course at an Ontario approved private school then please carefully read the following:
Private school courses are considered the same as day school credits by all post-secondary institutions in Ontario.
All courses taken at a private school will be coded with a "P" on the student transcript.
Students may not be able to reduce their course load to part-time status at Westmount when taking a course outside Westmount. Administration approval will be required to go part-time.
Courses taken outside Westmount are not eligible for Westmount Honour Roll but are eligible for Ontario Scholar at time of Graduation.
Courses taken outside of Westmount will not be used to calculate a student's average for 'Westmount Grade 12 Awards of Excellence'.
Westmount assumes no responsibility for any course taken at a private school. It is the responsibility of the private school to put your mid-term marks on OCAS or OUAC.
When the course is complete please submit an official transcript or report card in a sealed envelope to the Guidance department and the mark will be added to your Credit Counselling Summary (C.C.S.)
If you have any questions, please see you Guidance Counsellor
PLEASE NOTE:
