Normally, to meet graduation requirement students are required to complete 40 hours of community involvement. When planning your community involvement, please keep the following in mind:
All community hours which will be recorded for graduation should be approved by your Guidance Counsellor before you begin.
You can download a copy of the Community Involvement completion form from the bottom of this webpage.
When you complete your hours, ensure that the correct form has been signed by the Supervisor of the Activity; who confirms the
number of hours you did at the activity.
Return the activity completion form to the Guidance Office. Student and Parent/Guardian signatures required.
Check the "important dates" section of this agenda for the deadline date to submit your hours to Guidance.
The Guidance Department will track a student's community involvement up to a maximum of 40 hours.
The Community Involvement Form should be used ONLY for the 40 hours required for graduation.
Students are encouraged to maintain an accurate personal portfolio of all community involvement above the 40 hours required for graduation. NOTE: 20 hours are required for the Graduating Class of 2022.
