Instructions
Mini tennis controlled hitting warm up
A cooperation drill
Combination of FH, BH, FH volley and BH volley
Alternate with partner once you did full round without missing or if you miss
Do this for several rounds until you get that nice rhythm
If it’s too easy try doing it 3 in a row without missing a shot
Instructions
A basic drill to work on technique and movement
Working on change direction and adjusting to the ball
Partner can feed the ball at the opposite side of the court
You can do this 3 sets then swap with partner
To make it challenging you can put some targets and try and knock them down
Remember to check technique for your partner and always keep your balance and transferring your weight forward
Instructions
This game requires a lot of control and team work
Your goal is to do a volley from the singles line to the other singles line with your partner
Try to finish it without missing
You can make it easy by just staying one spot and do as many volley's as you can
If you want it to be harder try volleying a little bit farther than the net or if still easy try volleying from the service line
Instructions
Normal playing points but if you win a point from the net then you get 2 points
2 serves/feed each then swap
Play as many points as you want - set your own target
This drill practices setting up the point to go in to the net
Helps you to be more aggressive if you see a short ball
Puts more pressure on your opponent when you attack the net
To make it harder - set rules like you can only make ball bounce once or twice then you have to move to the net
To make it easier - more than one bounce, cannot lob, have to hit first ball back to net player if they come to net
