The Band is for brass, woodwind and percussion students Grade 3 - Grade 6 ABRSM/Trinity music exam standard to develop their ensemble skills in individual and combined - Brass, Woodwind and Percussion ensembles.

Brass Exploration
Brass Exploration is a unique opportunity for children in Grades 2 - Grade 5 to play a brass instruments with the guidance of a specialist brass teacher. Over the course of three individual lessons, students will have the chance to explore the instrument before committing to the ITP (Instrumental Teaching Programme).
Each child will first participate in a trial session to ensure they are matched with the right instrument and will then be assigned a specialist teacher for the instrument of choosing. Once they've produced their first five sounds, they will be invited to join the Beginner Band towards the end of Season 3 and throughout Season 4.
Grades: G2 & G5
Day & Time: Initial try out Thursday, 12.00pm-12.30pm
1:1 lessons various times by negotiation with Brass Teacher
Seasons: S1 sign up for G4 & G5 students. S2 & S3 trial sessions and lessons commence for G2 & G3 students

String Explorers activity Strings Explorers provides an ensemble based introduction to string playing for absolute beginners. Students will be allocated an instrument to ensure students work in a balanced ensemble. Opportunities will be available to learn violin, viola, cello and double bass.

Double Bass Exploration is a unique opportunity for children to play a Double Bass with the guidance of a specialist strings teacher. World of Peace Choir
The World of Peace Choir is a smaller choral ensemble for students in Grades 4 to 8 who are passionate about singing and ready to extend their ensemble skills through part-singing. Members have the opportunity to compose and perform original songs, attend choral coaching and workshops, and sing in both service and regular concerts. The Harp Ensemble activity is an opportunity for harp players of all ages and abilities to develop their ensemble skills and have the opportunity to practice and perform as part of a small group rather than as a soloist. The music explored will be tailored to meet the ability level of each child in the ensemble. This activity is designed for an advanced beginner to an advance player. Not suitable for a complete beginner.

Boomwhacker Fun!
Students in Grades 2–5 will use Boomwhackers to learn rhythms and melodies, collaborate in ensemble playing, and perform joyful musical pieces that showcase teamwork, creativity, and musical understanding.
