The Infant School Physical Education programme aims to provide the younger students of our community a programme that will promote learning through movement and participation. In our broad-based curriculum, students will develop their individual capacity for movement at their own pace, as they explore a variety of activities aimed at developing fundamental movement skills in an enjoyable, safe and non-threatening environment.
The Physical Education programme in grades K1, K2 and Grade 1 has five major objectives:
- To establish a positive attitude towards a healthy and active lifestyle
- To develop gross motor, fine motor and manipulative skills through practical activities and exploratory play.
- To encourage important aspects of personal and social development by interacting with others in play.
- To actively involve all students in an enjoyable, non-threatening and non-competitive environment.
