Since its initiation in the academic year 2016/2017 with the offering of only three languages, the HLP has experienced remarkable growth and expansion. 

The programme has grown from initially offering three languages to a current selection of 15 languages with a significant increase in student enrolment, with an estimated number ranging between 270 to 300 students actively participating in the Home Languages Programme.
