~The Home Languages Programme (HLP) began in 2017 with just five languages and was created to support students in maintaining their home languages and cultural identities while learning in an English-speaking environment.

At the College, we recognise that bi/multilingualism positively supports overall learning, the acquisition of additional languages, and the development of cultural identity. The HLP therefore aims to nurture both language development and the cultural understanding that multilingualism fosters.

Since its beginnings, the programme has grown significantly and now supports approximately 290–300 students across 13 languages. As our community continues to grow, HLP remains committed to supporting students in celebrating and strengthening their linguistic and cultural heritage.~
