碩士生畢業條件 Master Degree Graduation Criteria

Except all criteria defined by the department, there is only one additional requirement in this lab: Publish a paper on your own. This implies that you need to complete the following items on your own:

• Write a paper on your own.

• Submit the paper to an academic conference on your own.

• Give a presentation at the conference on your own.

You may ask why I ask you to complete these items. My answer is simple. For most of you, master degree is the last stop in your academic life. So before you leave this school, experience the real academic life. Note that I do not care the rank of the conference since I think your experience is much more important than your reputation. Undoubtedly, you can use an international journal to replace this requirement. 

Remember, graduation is your own business, not mine.

除了系上的要求之外，本實驗室有多一條畢業條件：自己去發表論文。這代表你自己要完成下面的事項：

• 自己撰寫論文。

• 自己上傳論文到學術研討會。

• 在會議中自己發表論文。

你也許會問為啥我會做這樣的要求。我的答案很簡單。對你們大多數人來說，碩士學位就是你們學術生活的最後一站。所以離開學校前，去體驗看看所謂的學術生活。請注意我不在意會議的等級，因為我認為你的經驗對你來說比你的學術聲望更重要。當然，你可以用一篇學術期刊來代替這項要求。

記住，畢業是你的事情，不是我的事情。
