This display shows how we are ‘Growing Our School’

The worms in the soil are the different curriculum areas –

Expressive Arts, Health and Wellbeing, Languages, Literacy, Numeracy and Maths, R.M.E, Science, Social Studies, and Technology,

They provide the nutrients for the flowers to grow as –

The sun provides the light of the Wellbeing Indicators –

Safe, Healthy, Active, Nurtured, Achieving, Respected, Responsible, Included

The clouds and raindrops show how we are growing the different parts of Bualnaluib Primary School through the School Improvement Plan.

We are improving our use of the moderation cycle

· Pupils will be able to answer the questions:

o What am I learning?

o How do I know I am successful?

o What are my next steps?

· Staff and pupils will ask for and share feedback in different ways

· Assessment will be used to inform learning and teaching

· Structured and consistent moderation.

· Assessment will be used to plan targeted interventions.

We are raising attainment in numeracy and literacy

· Raise attainment in literacy and numeracy

· Review the pedagogies we are using to teach numeracy and maths

· Children will have more ownership over their progression trackers
