Dear GAA Parents,
Abu Dhabi Sailing Academy is proud to announce that our sailing school for children ages 8 to 17 is open. This is a longtime dream and now materializing into reality. The Academy has now a fleet of 8 Optimist(ages 8-15) and 6 Beneteau first 7.5(ages 15-17) on our base at Yas Marina.
The mission is: Sailing For All, In a Fun, Safe and Efficient Way to Learn this Amazing Sport!

A - School programs: 10 hours (4 weeks/ 1 time per week) - PRICE: 900 Dhs

Dear GAA Parents,
We have adopted a new online system for ASAs, powered by SchoolsBuddy, for the following purposes:
- Online parent consent for events/sign up for after school clubs;
- Payment of fees and view your balance;
- View diary of confirmed events;
- Get venue information and directions;
- Receive communications from Athletics and After School Activities Department.
You have received the activation instructions in September. For any questions, please feel free to contact our Athletics Department (room 055) at r.russell_gaa@gemsedu.com.
Definition: GEMS American Academy offers a comprehensive athletics and activities program intended to enhance the physical, social, emotional, artistic, and intellectual growth of participating students. Our After School Activity Program (ASA) is teacher lead and offered 4 times a year, for a eight-week block.
The activities are open to all students from grade 1 through to grade 12. These activities can be a sport, creative, academic, student leadership and service learning in nature.
● All after-school activities (ASA) will begin at 15:00 and run until 16:00 on the assigned day. From Sunday through Thursday. Please note, NO ASA available on Mondays.
● All grades 1 and 2 students will be taking to the cafeteria at 16:00 for collection. Students who ride the 4:30 late school bus will be handed over to the bus conductors, who will escort them to the bus.
● ONLY current students bus riders are able to use the 4:30 late school bus.

After School Activities (ASA) will begin the week of:
● Session 1 - Sunday 8th of September
