Applying for a Professional Teaching Certificate

• The MAT candidate must successfully complete all coursework and have passed all required Praxis II Subject Assessment exam(s) and the Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) exam. IECE, LBD, and MSD certification areas do not have to pass a PLT exam. All other certification areas must pass the PLT exam. 

• A minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA is required at graduation.

• Candidates should use this certification resource for specific directions for applying for their professional license.
