Dispositions/ Expectations

An important component of our advanced programs in the School of Teacher Education is the consideration of student dispositions – those values, actions, attitudes, and beliefs that influence educator behaviors. Throughout the program, MAT candidates will engage in conversations about these dispositions and will be evaluated on them by the program faculty.  During the initial semester, we ask all MAT candidates to critically consider these dispositions and rate themselves.   

The first self-assessment disposition survey will be emailed to the MAT candidate when they enter the program. MAT candidates who do not believe they have received the self-assessment, email teacher.certification@wku.edu.  Candidates will complete the disposition and upload it to their Anthology portfolio.
