Stop the Bleed is a national public health campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained and equipped with the skills and resources to provide immediate help in a bleeding emergency. Quickly stopping the bleeding is critical as a person with life-threatening injuries can die from blood loss within five minutes.
Pre-Work: Complete this 25-minute online module

Narcan Nasal Spray can reverse the effects of an opioid emergency by restoring breathing while waiting for emergency personnel to arrive. At this training, students will learn how to access and administer this resource.

Navigating traffic and pedestrian conditions in the campus area, and sharing space with local wildlife… there are a variety of encounters that UCLA students must be prepared for and at this training we will review safety practices relevant to these encounters.

Cultivating safe environments sometimes means intervening to de-escalate a tense situation. This training will address when, how, and if to step in to mediate a conflict--as a bystander as well as an active party.
