Instructions for using the Eder 3 Pro
The Ender 3 Pro is available to all students as a self-serve 3d printer. The printer is can be found in the 3D printing lab in the 2nd floor studio. Please read the instructions below for information on:
Loading the filiment
Leveling the build plate
Sending print jobs
Important: Only use PLA
Leveling the Ender 3 Pro
Push in the click wheel
Rotate wheel to "motion"
Push in the click wheel to select
Select "Auto Home" to home the machine
After the the homing process is complete go back to "motion"
Turn the click wheel down to "disable steppers"
Manually move the carriage and build plate so the nozzle is over the left corner of the build plate.
Using a piece of paper, adjust the knob below the build plate until the nozzle just drags on the paper while pulling the paper.
Repeat the proccess for each corner.
Loading filiment
Push in the "click wheel" and turn to "temperaure"
Set the nozzle temperature to 230c
Go back to the "info" screen
At the info screen, wait for the nozzle temp. to reach 230
Take one end of the filiment and snipe off a section
On the back of the extruder, push in the spring loaded lever
Push filiment through the hose until the plastic extrudes out the nozzel

Load G code on a micro SD card
Place the SD card in the slot on the left side of the printer at it's base.
Push in the "click wheel" and rotate down to "print from media"
Push in the "click wheel" to select
