These grants are intended for people with a disability to develop leadership skills to benefit themselves, their whānau and/ or the wider disability community.
Whakapumau Pae Tawhiti – Retention Scholarships
Applicants must be graduates of Toi Ohomai. They should hold admission offers into a higher-level program of study at the institution.
Note: For Māori, pacific and learners with a disability.
Applications are open to students with significant disabilities who are planning to, or already attend University or Polytechnic. Their home base is to be within the Bay of Plenty.

To provide assistance to Blind Low Vision NZ clients undertaking or about to enter tertiary education.
The scholarship is to support deaf people with training, mainly in areas that will contribute in some way to the welfare, education or well-being of other deaf people.
The Fellowship provides financial assistance to citizens or permanent residents of Australia, Canada or New Zealand who have a severe disability and who are planning to undertake postgraduate study.
