Ways to take the glare away from your screen when you are working on a device
Use Dark Mode:
1. Open System Preferences by clicking the Apple icon in the top-left corner of your screen or by clicking the icon in your toolbar.
Click General.
In the Appearance section, click Dark to activate dark mode.
Work in Night Mode to reduce Blue Light:
1. On Windows 10, open the Start Menu.
2. Click the cog icon on the left side.
3. Click System and then Display.
4. Now enable Night Light. Here you can adjust the schedule and colour temperature.
Adjust the brightness on your screen:
Otherwise, investing in some Blue Light glasses or Anti Glare glasses will also help with fatigue from screens.
Speech to Text
When you speak into the microphone, Windows Speech Recognition converts your spoken words into text that appears on your screen.
To dictate text:
1. Open Speech Recognition by clicking the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, clicking Ease of Access, and then clicking Windows Speech Recognition.
2. Say "start listening" or click the Microphone button to start the listening mode.
3. Open the program you want to use or select the text box you want to dictate text into.
4. Say the text that you want dictate.
