French Class offerings
Cross-listed class
The following class is taught in French (upper-level) and registered by the French prefix and number (FRE 447). During the schedule adjustment period early in the semester, you can swap credit in French for credit in History by swapping with the cross-listed class!
HST447 France from the Revolution to the Great War
All students in the class must meet the language prerequisite to enroll in this Center class
French class levels:
ALL Students at Beginning (100) or Intermediate (200) levels:
Take the appropriate 4-credit language instruction course: FRE 101,102, 201, or 202.
ALL Students at an Advanced level (300 or 400):
If you have already completed four semesters of college-level French (and/or are at that level of proficiency), choose one or more of the following 3-credit Center courses:
FRE 300.1 - French Cinema vs. Hollywood
FRE 325 - Junior Language Usage
Students participating in a partner university program take classes taught in French at the local university as well as French Center classes.
