Academic advising for visiting students
At some institutions, it's your study abroad advisor; at others, it's an academic advisor who is familiar with the requirements of your degree program. If you aren't sure, please reach out to someone asap.
Coordinate an academic plan to make the most of your SU experience and understand your anticipated transfer credit!
Access to SU online platforms:
To access your SU email and stay up-to-date with any communications from our Abroad offices, you must first activate your NetID. This is essentially your SU Username and will be the series of characters before @syr.edu in your SU email.
Follow the instructions in your OrangeAbroad portal > Learning Content > Your SUID number to get the process going if you haven't already.

Save your password! Use the Self-Serv Syracuse portal to reset your password if needed
Login to all of SU's online resources with your NetID and password... including SUmail and MySlice!
