STEP THREE: PLAN YOUR SCHEDULE
REVIEW the Schedule of Classes and Timetable
Suggestions:
Make sure classes you want to take aren't at the same time
Verify that you meet prerequisites for a class you're interested in
Determine Your French Level (if you haven't yet!)
Ask you academic advisor if you are unsure how a course may count toward your degree progress
Cross-listed courses
The following courses have been approved for credit in more than one field of study. Consider each of these listings as the SAME class when adding to your CPF. These are taught as one class and you can choose which subject to earn credit in.
FRE 447 and HST 447: France from the Revolution to the Great War
HST 415 and PSC 350.2: Europe, Russia and the Eastern Borderlands
HST 419 and STS 300.1: Scientific Controversies: Historical Perspectives and Social Implications
IRP 300.2 and MES 300.2: Along the Silk Road: Europe's Encounters with Turkey and Central Asia
Engineering at Insa
The schedule at INSA will be available prior to your arrival abroad, but hasn't been posted yet (this is standard practice). Course days/times are listed as TBC (to be confirmed) on the Schedule of Classes, and will confirmed when INSA releases their schedule.
When completing the CPF:
All students choose the required and appropriate FRE language course and MAT 397 Calculus III (unless already completed).
Choose the courses required for your major as part of the Engineering program and then any courses that you'd like to take at the Center if your special program schedule allows.
Don't worry! Strasbourg staff will ensure that your required classes do not conflict and assist with making adjustments to your schedule once abroad.
READ course descriptions.
