Academic Policies and Resources
Academic Policies:
You should carefully review all academic policies, applicable to all Syracuse Abroad programs, posted on the Syracuse Abroad website.
You must remain in good academic standing to participate in our program. If you are placed on academic probation prior to departure, you may be withdrawn from the program.
Arrangements to do coursework as independent research, if needed to satisfy a degree requirement, must be made in advance. Due date for proposals is May 15.
Additional resources:
Academic Information is available for your reference on the Preparing to Go: Center Programs page.
Information on enrollment policies, grades, pass/fail grading option, class attendance, SU library resources, registration, internships and independent research can be found.
Visiting students should also save this page for information on transfer credit and requesting an SU transcript following their studies abroad.
You should regularly check your syr.edu email for messages from Syracuse Abroad!
