Medications

Over-the-Counter (OTC) and prescription medication may be administered at school. Per district policy the following documentation must be provided before any medications may be administered. Medications must come in the original container, and must not be expired. It is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian to provide the medication to the school. Medications will be administered out of the school health office by designated, trained staff.

1. OTC authorization completed and signed by the parent for any non-prescription medication administered during school hours.
