Kaltura Capture: record mini-lectures that students can watch at their own pace. It is available in NTULearn (Blackboard). It has student video assignment capabilities, and recorded videos are stored automatically in the My Media library.
Microsoft PowerPoint: record your screen in PowerPoint or record from your computer screen and embed the recording in PowerPoint. It is available in the Microsoft Office 365 Suite, and recorded videos are stored on your computer.
Kaltura Mashups: It is a tool to upload any video/audio file and embed it in your course. Students can also use Kaltura to submit video assignments too.
Google YouTube: it is a video repository and sharing, categorize them, share it with your students, and highly optimized for mobile devices.
Kaltura Capture is the most popular choice for desktop recording. It can be used to create video tutorials for your classes, an introduction to your course, a mini-lecture on a specific topic using a PowerPoint presentation with voiceover, or demonstrations of how to use a software program.
