Internally-Funded Research
One of the major responsibilities of a researcher is to submit the required quarterly progress reports, and terminal report in the Research and Extension Information System (REIS), as mentioned in the implementing Special Order of their corresponding research projects.
Certificates will be issued upon complete submission of the required research reports and compliance on the obligations of a researcher as stated in the Special Order. Records will be verified through the REIS.
All submitted proposals must align with the identified priority areas.
Proposals that encompass multiple priority areas will receive the highest priority.
Integrative and interdisciplinary research proposals shall be given top priority.
All proposals must specify their alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goals.
If submissions are low in some clusters, OVCRE may redirect funds to other clusters.
Exceptional research proposals outside priority areas may still be eligible for funding.
Note: All proposals will undergo initial in-house screening by the OVCRE, followed by technical evaluation by reviewers, prior to final approval.
