After visiting the ArtsWorcester Museum I discovered that a piece I was drawn to was mainly because it reminded me of Claude Monet's work. I really enjoy landscapes especially when they are abstract or blurry. This persuaded me to not only look further into Claude Monet's pieces but also Lucas Arruda's art pieces. Lucas Arruda paints from memory which is something that I enjoy doing. Arruda and Monet both share the blurring qualities that romanticism the artworks as well as makes them very intriguing.Â
