The CTE Programs of Study listed below include a Practicum course that provides students with internship opportunities to gain valuable on-the-job training opportunities. Practicums are designed to offer supervised, hands-on application of the knowledge and skills students have previously learned.
Students combine classroom learning with real-world experience at their Work-Based Learning (WBL) training sites, earning academic credit while gaining practical skills. Practicum placements may be paid or unpaid and take place in a variety of instructional and workplace settings.

Hays CISD WBL Training Sponsor Evaluation of Student Trainee (digital form)
Industry Partners: The Training Sponsor Evaluation should be completed once every nine-week grading period. Link to Hays CISD Calendars.
Training Site Visits (digital form)
Teachers/Coordinator: Utilize this form to document communication between the teacher/coordinator and training sponsor. At least 6 site visits per year must be conducted
