Objective:

SWBAT identify levers of change to pull in the local and state context to drive change about the topic.
SWBAT identify the entry points to get to the levers.
SWBAT connect their learning to Question #9 “How can we get from voice to change?” and Question #10 “How can we find allies?”

* What do "levers of change" mean?

Levers of change are decision-making roles and processes that can help them solve problems and make change in society.
Any organization, person, or technology can be a lever of change, both within and outside of conventional political institutions.
Some levers help us raise awareness (voice) and some help us influence policy (influence). Some levers help us do both.
Businesses/corporations, local/state government, peer groups, and social media networks, etc. can also be levers of change.

Let's continue to make a plan. Analyze several levers of change* you could pull to drive change.
