Third Grade
Students in 3rd grade work with rocks and minerals and present their learning to each other. They also study fossils and present a paleontological dig site with 2nd grade students, since they also study fossils in their Literacy program. In addition, students in 3rd grade worked together to create pollution solutions for the air, land, and water that surrounds us here in Georgia. As they learn about heat and the need to protect our beautiful regions, they will be adding turf houses to our garden to help the animals who live and visit it all year long.
