Vision & Mission

Our vision is that Stripling students will become Responsible, Empathetic, and Driven World-Class leaders by achieving academic and behavioral excellence. The Stripling mission is to collaborate with our community to develop literate student citizens who are effective communicators, critical thinkers, innovative problem solvers, and productive members of society. We believe in whole child development, creativity and critical thinking, empathy and respect, meaningful and equitable learning experiences, and partnership with community.

Integrating STEM PBL (project/problem-based learning) into our instructional framework will help our students make academic gains in pursuit of our vision and mission. Additionally, STEM PBL aligns to each of our school beliefs.

What is STEM at Stripling?

The integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math are becoming the heart of Stripling as we work together to solve the problems we see around our school and community. We say these affirmations every day: I am capable. I am building my future, I can change the world, Anything is possible, and we truly believe in them! Our teachers want the best for our students so they can make a positive impact on our world as they learn and grow into future citizens. We use Design Thinking throughout the year as we work to solve these problems and have created some amazing solutions. With the help from our entire community, including our many business partners, we have built a culture that inspires our students to be responsible, empathetic, and driven from Pre-K through 5th grade. Our STEM program is inclusive of all Stripling students, including those served in our special education programs. Students are presenting to each other in showcases, presenting to our community members about what they are doing at special events, and continuing to build their future.
