Second Grade News

Week of 8/11/25 - 8/15/25

We have had an amazing first week of school! We got to know each other and learned everything we needed to know about our TIGER Traits and expectations for the classroom, hallway, and lunchroom. We are jumping into our first academic units full speed on Monday so come to school ready to learn!

We will be completing our beginning of the year iReady Diagnostic this coming week. It is very important that your student has headphones. If you have not sent in headphones, please send them in on Monday.

Friday is our lunch on the lawn. Second grade time will be 11:35-12:20.

Our kindergartners are learning their colors and having color dress up days. If you would like to join in on the FUN, follow the schedule.

We are jumping in to Module 1, Unit 1! We will begin learning about schools and why they are important. We will begin Unit 1 by reading The Dot and learning about how school can help us express our creativity and think outside the box.
