We are jumping in to Module 1, Unit 1! We will begin learning about schools and why they are important. We will begin Unit 1 by reading The Dot and learning about how school can help us express our creativity and think outside the box.

Unit 1 - Building Fluency w/ Addition & Subtraction
Students will be continuing to practice their fact fluency as we begin to add and subtract 2 digit numbers with regrouping.
You can view this video to see how we will solve subtraction problems with our base 10 blocks.
We will continue to build our fact fluency to 20 throughout the entire year. Gimkit is one of our study tools and the students love it! This Gimkit link is a fact fluency adding and subtracting 0, 1, 2, & 10.
