Guiding Questions:
We have learned so much about Mary Anning and how it took perseverance and initiative to find the fossils of a sea monster. We will finish up Mary Anning with the Unit 1 assessment. We then start learning how paleontologist discover fossils, what tools they use, and how they study fossils.
Guiding Question:
What do Paleontologist do?
Below you will find the book that we will be focusing on this week.
Unit 3 - Measuring Lengths & Distances
Students will need to be able to construct tools to measure items in standard unit (inches, feet, & yards). Students will be using standard units to compare lengths of objects.
We will continue to build our fact fluency to 20 throughout the entire year. This Gimkit link is a fact fluency adding and subtracting now featuring doubles & doubles +1.
