Joseph Baldwin Academy

The Joseph Baldwin Academy for Eminent Young Scholars at Truman State University is accepting applications for their challenging and enriching summer program for 2024.  The summer program is a three-week summer residential youth scholar enrichment program at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO.

Current 7th and 8th grade students who achieved an Advanced Placement Score on their 2022-23 MAP testing in either English or Math can be nominated by their school counselor.  If your Spartan qualifies and you are interested in this opportunity, please contact your school counselor if you want them to be nominated.  Nominations are due October 25, 2023, so make sure to contact your school counselor before then to be nominated.

• November 2023: Applications open

• December 3, 2023: Priority consideration deadline

• January 7, 2024: Final deadline to accept applications

• Final week of February/First week of March 2024: Notification of acceptance to Academy
