Sam Schoonover - 6th Grade
Hello!
My name is Sam Schoonover, and I am the 6th Grade School Counselor at Saeger Middle School in the Francis Howell School District. This is my fifth year as a school counselor and my fourth year at Saeger! I love being part of an educational team that strives to support students in developing a positive self-concept to become confident learners and leaders in our community. I hold a Masters degree in both School and Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University. In my free time, I love to watch movies; read; play tennis or pickle ball; and spend time with my friends, family, and dogs.

Nanette Bratton - 7th Grade
Hello! My name is Nanette Bratton and I am the 7th grade counselor at Saeger Middle School. I have had the pleasure to work with many wonderful students as part of the Saeger Professional Counseling team for over 20 years. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I enjoy working with middle school students as they progress through their phases of academic, emotional, and social growth. I love working with our students and getting to know our Saeger families as we navigate through middle school together.

Dionne Smith - 8th Grade
Hi! My name is Dionne Smith, and I am the 8th grade counselor at Saeger Middle School. I have been a part of the Saeger counseling team for over 20 years. I love helping my students develop the tools to be strong and confident learners. I am excited to build a relationship with each of my 8th graders and to be a part of their journey as they transition through middle school.

Tori Burlison - Building Information Specialist (BIS)/Registrar
Hi there!
My name is Victoria Burlison (Tori) and I am the Building Information Specialist/Registrar at Saeger Middle School. This is my first year here at Saeger and I am thrilled to be a part of the Spartan community. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in both educational studies and psychology. I am wrapping up my final year of grad school to obtain a Master’s in School and Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University.

Kristin Ahlemeier-Olfe - Educational Support Counselor
My name is Kristin Ahlemeier-Olfe and I am the Educational Support Counselor (ESC). This is my 7th year with Saeger and FHSD, but I have been working in the mental health field as Licensed Professional Counselor for 25+ years.
As the ESC I help oversee the social and emotional support for all of our Saeger students, partnering with our School Counselors, Admin. Team and Teachers. (The students know me as “Ms. Olfe” : )

Daniel Morales - Behavior Support Specialist (BSS)
My name is Daniel Morales and I am the Behavior Support Specialist (BSS) here at Saeger Middle School. This is my 3rd year as a BSS but I have worked many years in the mental health field, specifically with children and adolescents. I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling with a Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.
As the BSS, it is my role to provide behavioral support to students, implement and monitor behavior intervention plans, and offer guidance to staff to improve student behavior and social-emotional skills. In short, it is my goal to assist students in enhancing, learning, and implementing positive and proactive behaviors to help them be successful in Saeger’s academic environment.
