We are conducting research on next-generation mobility that uses a combination of two approaches for intelligent mobility: autonomous and cooperative. Specifically, we are working on research of driving environment recognition using onboard sensors and IoT technology, research of motion control of various types of vehicles, and research of human-machine shared control, with the aim of contributing to a safe and secure mobility society.
We are engaged in research not only on intelligent automobiles but also on intelligent personal mobility, and we plan to begin research on mobility robots starting in 2025.
