Please sign in to UTokyo Account User Menu and set the password & the local part of ECCS Cloud Email **@g.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp.

Web mail is available to send and receive ECCS Cloud Email.
On Gmail Login Interface or ECCS Cloud Email Login Interface, please enter the email address and the password set above to log in.

Q. Can I ask TA to work with ITC-LMS?
A. It is possible by registering TA for the class on ITC-LMS. After registering the student in charge of TA as a course participant, specify the authority as TA.

Q. Is it possible for students who attend without registering for the course to access the course contents on ITC-LMS?

External students cannot access the course contents on ITC-LMS. Please consider using Google Drive, Google Classroom, etc.
Q. How can I record a Zoom meeting?
A. Several procedures to record a Zoom meeting depending on the situation
[Creating new Zoom meeting]
On the Schedule Meeting screen, please show "Options" and set "Automatically record meeting" "On the local computer".
[Editing existing Zoom meeting]
On the Meeting list screen, please select "Edit". On the Edit Meeting screen, please show "Options" and set "Automatically record meeting" "On the local computer".
[During Zoom meeting]
Please click ”Record" button at the bottom of the screen and select "Record on this Computer". (If ”Record" button is hidden, please click "More".)
Q. How can I upload a recorded video file to Google Drive?

Q. Is it possible to record a Zoom meeting on the Zoom cloud instead of on the local computer and share it on the Zoom cloud?

Q. I wold like to make a round-reading by a student's presentation on Zoom. Can the student in charge of the presentation share a slide screen for the presentation?
A. The default setting of Zoom at the UTokyo allows only the host to share the screen (to prevent vandalism). Please make the student in charge of the presentation a co-host, or change the setting so that all participants can share the screen.
To allow all participants to share the screen, please select "Advanced Sharing Options" from the right menu of "Share Screen" button on the host (faculty) screen, and select "All Participants" in "Who can share?".
Q. Is it possible to allow students to attend the class only from UTokyo Zoom Account?
A. It is possible, but it seems that many students do not acquire UTokyo Zoom Account at this time (2021/04/05), so the restriction on class attendance by UTokyo Zoom Account is not recommended.
To restrict class attendance by UTokyo Zoom Account, when scheduled Zoom meeting (created Zoom meeting ID), please check “Require authentication to join” in “Security” and select "大学アカウントでサインイン (Sign in with university account)". Additionally please make sure that the domain name is displayed as "*.u-tokyo.ac.jp". If it is displayed as "g.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp", no one can attend the class, so please click "Edit" and change it to "*.u-tokyo.ac.jp".
*After the System Change for Spring 2021, the domain of UTokyo Zoom Accounts is changed from "@g.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp" to "@utac.u-tokyo.ac.jp". If you reuse the meeting created previously, please make sure to change the domain to "*.u-tokyo.ac.jp".

Q. How can I prevent Zoom vandalism?
A. Please take the following measures.
Please keep a password for the Zoom meeting.
Please treat the Zoom meeting URL (the URL contains password information by default) carefully so that it is not known to outsiders.
Please make sure to write the URL in places that should be accessible only to insiders, such as UTAS and ITC-LMS. (Please do not write it in the published class website, etc.)
In particular, be careful not to send the URL on SNS etc. by students.
Q. How can I play a video during Zoom meeting?
A. In Zoom Client 5.5.0 for Windows / Mac released on 2021/02/01, the function to share and play a video file directly is added.
Please click "Share Screen" button and select "Video" from "Advanced" tub to open a video file directly from Zoom.
