Experiments with two different scattering planes are possible by using one (sealed) sample cell.

This cell is for polarized neutron measurements on (weak) ferromagnetic sample.
The presence of randomly-oriented (weak) ferromagnetic domain easily depolarizes neutron polarization. To perform polarized neutron scattering on the ferromagnetic samples, we need to align the ferromagnetic domains.
This sample cell is designed to produce a magnetic field of 80 mT at the sample position.
