Program Goals
Program goals begin with the collection of staff input data through a needs assessment. Mrs. Rushing considers what the most pertinent campus needs are and also considers how she can improve as a professional. The next step looks like Mrs. Rushing meeting with the elementary counseling director for Denton ISD to create SMART goals. Purposeful activites and service components are planned around these goals and tracked throughout the year.
Staff and parent needs assessment are sent out in the begining of each school year via google forms. Mrs. Rushing also periodically sends out surverys whenever a new program or portion of the counseling program is implemented.
