Interactive Flat Panel

Every Comal ISD classroom is equipped with an interactive flat panel display. Most classrooms use Clear Touch panels, while those with Promethean ActivPanels are paired with the Clear Touch NEXT Hub to provide a consistent experience across all campuses.

Comal ISD classrooms are equipped with document cameras, which can connect directly to the interactive flat panel, regardless of whether they are Promethean or Clear Touch.

Pre - K

Pre - K classrooms have a set of 10 student iPads.

Elementary

Elementary classrooms have a computer cart with a class set of Chromebooks. Teachers assign students a Chromebook to use while in the classroom.

Secondary

Students are checked out 1:1 devices. Classrooms have 2-4 extra Chromebooks in a charging station in each classroom, based on enrollment.
