Welcome to EEP Workshops!
At Barking & Dagenham College, our Enrichment, Employability and Pastoral (EEP) workshops are designed to support your personal and professional growth. Whether you're looking to enhance your CV, develop new skills, or seek guidance on personal challenges, our workshops offer a wide range of activities to help you succeed. From employability skills and career advice to well-being sessions and personal development, the EEP workshops provide a supportive space for you to thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Get involved, learn something new, and take the next step toward your future success!
All students are expected to complete 36 hours of Enrichment Employability and Pastoral (EEP) activities.
Workshops will run on Wednesdays throughout the year.

Browse the Thrive Enrichment Programme and find an activity that you are interested in.
Step 2:
Complete the form and list the activities that you are interested in
Step 3:
Wait for an email from the enrichment team to confirm the Date, Time and Location of the Workshop.
EEP hours at college are designed to support you in your personal, academic and professional development. Here is a breakdown
Why: To help you gain additional skills, improve your job readiness and receive emotional or academic guidance.
What: Sessions focus on personal growth (enrichment) career skills (employability) and your well-being (pastoral care)
Where: Activities are usually held in the Thrive Hub areas or in Jubilee Street (pop ups), Conference Suite, T124 or the Sports Hall.
How: Through workshops, activities, events, Guest speaker presentations, enrichment creative pop up stalls, charity work, volunteering, social engagement, student led activities, well being support, pastoral development, student leadership engagement and online resources, trips and award schemes and curriculum focussed sessions.
When: Scheduled during the academic year often during free periods, lunch time or after classes.
