We’ve updated our wireless networks to better support staff and students. Please follow the instructions below to connect your device
Wireless Network Overview
FUSD-Secure
For all district-managed devices assigned to staff and students. This connection is automatically configured and requires no action.
Please do not attempt to modify or manually connect to this network.
EDURoam
Designed for students using personal devices. This network applies student filtering and access rules.
FUSD-Staff
Designed for staff using personal (BYOD) devices. Only district staff accounts can connect.
Please do not move district-owned devices to this network.
Windows
1.Select EDURoam or FUSD-Staff (depending on your role).
2.Enter your FUSD email address as the username.
3.Enter your FUSD password.
4.If prompted, select Trust to accept the security certificate.
5.Tap Connect.
Apple iOS (iPad/iPhone)
1.Open Safari
2.For eduroam, go to https://byod.fusdaz.org/FUSD-eduroam.mobileconfig
2.For FUSD-Staff, go to https://byod.fusdaz.org/FUSD-Staff.mobileconfig
3.Tap "Allow"
4.A message will pop up saying the profile needs to be reviewed in the settings app. Go to settings.
5.Tap "Profile Downloaded" near the top
6.Tap the Install button in the top right
7.Enter the device PIN/Passcode (the one that unlocks the phone)
8.A warning will pop up saying the profile is not signed. Tap Install.
9.Another warning will pop up, saying this will change device settings. Tap Install.
10.It will ask for the WiFi username. Enter your FUSD email address, and tap Next.
11.Enter your FUSD password, and tap Next
12.Finally, tap the Checkmark in the top right. (Might be called "Apply" in older versions of iOS.)
*Connection is good for 90 days. After 90 days the user will need to reconnect.
Android & ChromeOS (Chromebooks)
1.Select EDURoam (students) or FUSD-Staff (staff).
2.Fill in the settings as follows:
3.SSID: eduroam (or FUSD-Staff for staff)
4.Identity: Your FUSD email address
5.Password: Your FUSD password
6.Anonymous Identity: Leave blank
7.EAP Method: TTLS
8.Phase 2 Authentication: PAP
9.CA Certificate: Do Not Validate
10.Save and connect
*Important Note for Android/ChromeOS: If your connection fails, you must Forget Network and re-enter the settings from scratch. Simply updating the saved network will not work (this is a known quirk of these systems).
