This is Alec's fifth year in the Florence Unified School District. His first year, he taught 9th grade history at Poston Butte High School, and then moved into the Education Technology Specialist positon. Graduating from Northern Arizona University with both a Bachelors and Masters degree, Alec brought his talents from teaching at Apache Junction High School to FUSD. He is both Google Level 1 and Level 2 certified and is currently working to become a Google Certified Trainer to better serve FUSD's staff.

His goal as an EdTech is to provide the highest level of service to all teachers and staff, providing them with training, troubleshooting tips, and general support when in need. Service is his highest priority to make sure FUSD is a pinnacle of education as a one-to-one district.

Marc brings a wealth of IT expertise and a passion for education to his role as an Educational Technology Specialist at the Florence Unified School District. With over five years of experience in the IT field, Marc transitioned into education a year ago, eager to combine his technical skills with his commitment to fostering learning environments.

Having obtained a Certification in Technology and holding a Degree in Audio Engineering, Marc's journey into educational technology has been marked by a dedication to leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences. His background in IT, coupled with his understanding of audio engineering principles, offers a unique perspective on integrating technology effectively in educational settings.

While relatively new to the role, Marc's commitment to professional development is evident. He actively seeks opportunities to enhance his skills, staying current with the latest trends and certifications in educational technology.

In his role, Marc is focused on providing top-tier support to teachers and staff, offering training, troubleshooting assistance, and ongoing guidance to ensure seamless integration of technology in the classroom. He is driven by a vision of empowering educators with the tools and knowledge they need to excel in their roles, ultimately contributing to the success of the Florence Unified School District.

Outside of work, Marc enjoys exploring new audio technologies, experimenting with sound design, and staying active in the local tech community. He looks forward to continuing his journey in educational technology, making a meaningful impact on the future of education at FUSD.

Sarah is currently serving the Florence Unified School District as an Education Technology Specialist. She was born and raised in Arizona, and attended the Arizona State University. 

She has been an educator for 12 years, split between the Florence Unified School District and the Apache Junction Unified School District. Her time in the classroom consisted of teaching high school math and science. She has taught Algebra 1, Honors Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Honors Algebra 2, Math Support, Co-Taught Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics. 

Sarah is also a proud Google Level 1 and Level 2 Certified Educator and is working towards her Google Certified Trainer credential.
