Dear data scientists,
I wanted to send a hello and to show you an activity a TK teacher facilitated on their day 1.
Take a look at the image from a transitional kindergarten in Southern California classroom on Day 1. The activity is a simple way to make connections to social emotional learning on day 1 of the year.
On that note, please feel free to send me an anonymized artifact from your class, and I will send it out in a weekly / biweekly email. If you want to include a few sentences explaining the context of the photo, please include them. Finally, please indicate if you want me to put your first name in the post.
The email will also be posted here on this new blog so that others may read and gain ideas.
I hope that seeing these images will remind, inspire, and support others in infusing data ideas into their classrooms!
