Each inductee is assigned a mentor teacher within the first 30 days of enrollment in the program. The following criteria is used to match inductees with mentor teachers:
1. Credentials Held
2. Grade Level/Subject Area
3. School Site
Inductees receive an average of not less than one hour per week of individualized support (15 hours/semester) that can be direct or coordinated support by the assigned mentor teacher. A mentor process log will be used to document the support received by the participating teacher.
