Professional standards Overview 

The Fullerton Online Teacher Induction Program is organized around the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP). ​In addition, participating teachers are expected to align their instructional practices with the California Content Standards for K-12 Schools and the Professional Standards for their subject area.

The program is also aligned with the Five Core Propositions of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) and International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards for Educators and Students.  See below for additional information on these standards.

In Semester 4, candidates focus on the The Teacher Leader Model Standards, a series of broadly stated domains that identify critical dimensions of teacher leadership.
