Each inductee (new teacher) is assigned a mentor teacher within the first 30 days of enrollment in the program. The following criteria is used to match participating teachers with support providers:
1. Credentials Held
2. Grade Level/Subject Area
3. School Site
Inductees receive an average of not less than one hour per week of individualized support that can be direct or coordinated support by the assigned mentor teacher. A mentor processing log will be used to document the support received by the participating teacher.
